Paris Hilton Visits Lesbian Bar

Paris Hilton’s party hopping took a turn in a different direction last night - after the 26-year-old hotel heiress paid a visit to Sunset Boulevard’s hottest lesbian bar, Falcon.

The millionaire socialite’s night kicked off at a SAG Awards bash held at Crustacean before heading to Falcon, where she emerged hand-in-hand with US reality star Brittny Gastineau and a swarm of female friends.

Paris, who briefly changed into a brunette wig, continued the night at Hyde, before finishing up at notorious celebrity hot spot LAX.

This is the second time Paris has been spotted hanging out with the lesbians - she paid a visit to Falcon three weeks ago for the Hollywood premiere of the fifth season of lesbian series The L Word.

That night, onlookers reportedly spotted the ‘Simple Life’ star keeping close company with the show’s star Katherine Moennig, with one party goer observing: “Paris and Kate were here holding hands.”

Moennig is not the only star Paris has been linked to recently.

Paris has also worked her charm on male admirers lately - she was spotted kissing Lindsay Lohan’s ex-boyfriend Jared Leto, at a Sundance Film Festival party.

A half hour before The 13th Annual Critics' Choice Awards began, only a handful of celebrities had walked the red carpet, leaving reporters concerned that the writer's strike had struck again. Fortunately, a swarm of A-list actors including Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, George Clooney and Queen Latifah arrived with just a few minutes to spare. The biggest surprise of the night? Katie Holmes (in Lanvin) magically appeared on stage to bestow the Best Comedy award to the indie hit Juno before pulling a disappearing act. Fortunately, the other VIP guests stuck around to celebrate the year's best films.

Burlesque queen Dita Von Teese must be the hottest property in the fashion business. She seems to be spokesperson for a LOT of products. Latest of her acquisitions is a deal with Wonderbra. The Wonderbra was the rage of the early 90's - they were so ubiquitous that people used to joke that landfills were piled high with Wonderbras and Evian bottles. The company wants to boost their image again so they hired Dita to design some retro-inspired lingerie and she'll be introducing her collection in Paris next month.

Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham may often look like a deranged My Size Barbie, but we don't really care, we'll take style advice from her any day. Now that her style guide That Extra Half an Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything in Between is finally available in the U.S., we're thrilled to carry her around with us everywhere.

Obviously, we have a little thing for Posh (hell, we're even watching Ugly Betty tonight for her), but that doesn't mean we're going easy on her book when we say it's actually pretty good.

Of course they don't have to match! I have other things to think about than whether my bra is properly coordinated with my knickers."

Brilliant. One more question: Is it necessary to always wear high heels?
"For me, it's really all about high heels. I like to wear heels up to eleven centimeters high, but that's tricky for every day if I'm running around, even I must admit."

"Go out and make the most of what the fabulous stores here have to offer."

Katie Holmes is becoming that girl we all knew who stole, excuse us, reappropriated someone else's style. If the oversize sunglasses, Hermès bag, leggy ensembles and globular breasts don't give it away, Katie is ripping off Posh.

Sure, Victoria Beckham gives her secrets away in a style book, and it's great to draw inspiration from those around you. But Katie looks to be in danger of getting hit with a straight-up copyright-infringement notice any day now.

We have a few suggestions for Kate on how to make the Posh look work for her. First, ditch the bug glasses—they're really starting to creep us out. Second, keep it up with the legs because, damn girl, you got 'em. Third, order a normal-sized Birkin bag—this ginormous one does not look easy to carry. And finally, we can only handle one woman who likes to push her breasts up to her chin, and Posh already called dibs.

See, it's entirely possible to be inspired by someone's style without (poorly) copying it.

Lindsay Lohan's Razzie pride

Lindsay Lohan claims she's proud of her movie 'I Know Who Killed Me', despite it receiving nine Razzie nominations.

The 21-year-old star's flop performance in the movie - in which she plays both a schoolgirl and her stripper alter-ego - earned her two nominations in the Worst Actress category at the Golden Raspberry Awards 2008, which recognise the worst films and performances of the last 12 months.

But Lindsay is adamant she did a great job and enjoyed working with director Chris Siverston.

She said: "I played a schizophrenic. It was so draining but I loved working with Chris.

"He helped me give a performance I didn't think I was capable of. I've already told him I'll be in anything he directs."

Last year, the 'Mean Girls' star claimed she had been given an acting talent and wanted to use it to the best of her ability.

Lindsay - who spent a two-month stint in rehab for drink and drug problems - said: "I will never leave the industry. I'm here to stay. My talent is a gift and I'm going to use it in the right ways."

Heiress Paris Hilton has picked up thousands of dollars worth of presents for her The Simple Life co-star Nicole Richie's new daughter Harlow - in a bid to be named the baby's godmother.

The 26-year-old visited the gifting suites at the annual Sundance Film Festival in Utah, which began on Thursday (17Jan08) - where she picked out a gift basket from Hollywood baby boutique Petit Tresor worth $1,500 (#750). She also collected five organic blankets from earth-friendly designer Robbie Adrian.

New parents Richie and Joel Madden are said to be battling over who will be the tot's guardian, with the socialite picking best friend Hilton, and the Good Charlotte rocker preferring his future sister-in-law, Australian actress/model Sophie Monk, for the role.

David Beckham has pleaded with the world not to turn a "blind eye" to dying children in developing countries.

The soccer star - who has three sons, Brooklyn, eight, Romeo, five, and two-year-old Cruz with Spice Girl wife Victoria - was visibly moved as he visited the poverty-hit Sierra Leone, where a quarter of all children die before they turn five.

David, who was in the West African state for his role as a goodwill ambassador for United Nations children's organisation UNICEF, said: "We can't turn a blind eye to the tens of thousands of young children who die every day in the developing world, mostly from causes that are preventable.

Britney Spears’ Scatterbrained Night

When you’re rich, famous, and somewhat unstable, an ordinary Wednesday night can turn into an action packed ordeal in a matter of minutes.

And last night, Britney Spears was all over southern California - literally. It all started with dinner at the Gaucho Grill in Studio City. The “Gimme More” singer sported some ripped fishnet stockings and black pumps as she dined with her main squeeze Adnan Ghalib.

After dinner, Brit and Adnan headed to Starbucks for their normal caffeine fix. But that was just the beginning.

Sans boyfriend, the “Toxic” singer grabbed her pal/producer Sam Lufti for a late night spree at Kitson Women and Men in West Hollywood. Of course the troubled mother of two had to change her clothes multiple times.

And then they were off to San Fernando Valley, which is quite a hike from West Hollywood. But Britney wasn’t concerned… she raced at speeds of over 100mph just to get there quickly. Unfortunately for the trailing paparazzi, the cops started pulling them over, issuing tickets and making arrests. Luckily for her, Spears wasn’t cited.

Britney ended the night with a stop at Rite Aid, however when she found that the store had closed, she hopped over to Ralphs to grab a few items. A curious videographer asked her if she and Adnan were fighting (since he wasn’t with her) and she replied, “No comment.” When asked if he was treating her well, she just shrugged her shoulders.

Whew! What a night!

The paparazzi camped out at Los Angeles Express Airport spotted Eva Longoria yesterday. And she was sporting some new body art.

The “Desperate Housewives” actress wore a black ensemble, revealing just enough of her back to show her new tattoo (located at the base of her neck). And it sounds like her husband, San Antonio Spurs stud Tony Parker, will have his hands full this Valentine’s Day.

According to Eva, “Tony has something planned for Valentine’s Day. He has told me not to do anything. We have vowed not to give each other presents, but we might do something, like a romantic dinner. I have a good husband - he got me Christian Louboutin shoes and a diamond tennis bracelet for Christmas.”

It sounds like she could be cooking something up, herself. “Tony and I are fine diners. I cook a lot, especially out of French cookbooks. We like to eat, to be at home, and be really homey and domestic. My motto is that if you can read, you can cook. I can do any recipe.”

After spending the past week in New York City with wife Katie Holmes and daughter Suri, Tom Cruise made the venture back to Los Angeles for an important family matter.

The Top Gun stud was spotted out last night at one of his favorite spots, The Cut at the Beverly Wilshire hotel, celebrating his adopted son Connor’s 13th birthday.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Tom’s sister Cass has been playing parent to Connor, along with sister Isabella, ever since he left for Germany to film Valkyrie. And now that Cruise is finished with his Nazi flick, he’s just waiting for his $35 million home to be renovated before reuniting the troops.

Britney Spears Wants Baby With Adnan?

Despite claims that she filed a restraining order against him, Britney Spears was spotted gallivanting around town last night with paparazzo Adnan Ghalib. And recently, he went blabbing about his relationship with the pop star to anybody who was willing to listen.

Regarding the rumored restraining order that Brit supposedly filed against him, Adnan says it’s all rubbish, adding that their relationship is “far from over.”

In fact, he says, they’ve been talking about the possibility of getting married. When asked how he’d reply if she asked him formally, Adnan replied, “I’d be lying if I said no.”

Apparently the shutterbug and his “Gimme More” girlfriend have been romping around the sack quite regularly, leading Ghalib to believe that Brit wants to have his baby. “She has a very maternal instinct. She was feeling a lot of things she said she felt when she was pregnant. I think she was hoping she was pregnant with my child.”

As for her current children, Britney has called an emergency hearing with the judge in “a desperate bid to see her sons as part of her mental health rehabilitation.”

According to press reports, “The singer’s lawyers have scheduled a session at an Los Angeles court on Wednesday morning (January 23) and will be asking for Spears to be allowed monitored visitation in a therapeutic setting.”

The Next Move for David Look-a-likes

Next the Beckhams. Rumor is David Beckham is leaving Real Madrid for the Los Angeles Galaxy and Victoria is looking for houses. Victoria spent 30 minutes looking at a 10 million dollar house five doors away for Tom and Katie. Plus Katie’s been snapped visiting Posh at her Beverly Hills hotel with Suri bundled up. So how does David feel about all this? Well the midfielder doesn’t have time to think about it because his teammates are currently razzing him about the gay calendar “Celebrity Hunks Around The House” that is spoofing him. The calendar is available for about $12 and has pictures of a Brad Pitt, Prince William, and David Beckham look-a-like prancing around in apron’s doing house chores.
